Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. Despite being as black as outer space, it has a few bright patterns on it.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

StarrySkyNebula is a shy and reserved Nebula Dragon hatchling. He spends most of his time staring at his chosen nebula, as all of his species does. But while most of his kind will chat with other dragons while peering into the night sky, StarrySkyNebula is too anxious to respond when someone starts mentally talking to him. Instead he just ignores them until they go away, too scared to speak.
