Grave Dragons are not named for their connections to death or burial, but for the grave expression on their faces. This strange expression is used as a defense mechanism that causes fits of panic and terror in potential predators. Since they only eat ash and charcoal, they do not hunt. Grave Dragons are powerful fire-breathers and have been known to burn down forests and villages alike to make meals. It is believed that the markings on each Grave Dragon’s wings are the faces of those who have lost their lives in fires started by that dragon.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Demise is a Grave Dragon under the command of Vendetta. Demise is the strongest male the Grave Dragons have, and usually serves as second-in-command for his Queen. He is larger than the average Grave, and his fiery temper is not to be messed with.

Normally, it's an honor to be the Queen's right-hand dragon, but for Demise it's nothing such. He is the permanent beta, as he has vanquished all competitors and made his rank painfully clear among his inferiors. Like Vendetta, he has high expectations, and if his expectations aren't met the offender will receive a punishment. Luckily, he is much more lenient in his punishments, which rarely result in death.

One of Demise's favorite past-times is venturing out and demolishing nearby villages, gulping down the ashes before any other dragon can get near. His "hunting" is the only time he'll use his fire breath, however, preferring to use his brawn instead when engaging in fights.
