Pink Dragons are primarily herbivores and only eat meat during the mating season, when mates will exchange kills. When it is not breeding season, pink dragons spend most of their time incubating eggs and caring for their clan’s young. Due to their feminine color, it was traditionally thought that pink dragons were a strictly female breed, but this is not true.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Yowala Pinki is a male Pink Dragon, who especially enjoys spending his time at hatcheries in Z'Digiahmi that specialize in saving abandoned hatchlings and eggs. None of the elder dragons in the caves near Lillity, the human village, will care for them. So Yowala and his friends take up the task to make sure all hatchlings are healthy, happy, and well cared for. He lives in the hatchery with the hatchlings so they are always safe, and therefore he is very dedicated to his job. But one day a fire tore the building down! Yowala rushed to get all the younglings out in time and put them all in his front arms and on his wings and back. It was a wonderful feat, and he is now well respected through the kingdom for his act.
