White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

"Oreca, the most beautiful dragon in Valkemare."  Those words have been repeated many times by many different dragons, although they are likely not true.  Nonetheless, Oreca is stunningly beautiful. Her snow-white hide is flawless, her small body delicately proportioned, her eyes a stunning shade of sapphire blue.  Her large wings are composed of soft white feathers which fade to cream at her wingtips.  In many dragons' opinion, she even has a perfect personality—she is kind, selfless, trusting, and level-headed.  It came as a surprise to no dragon that as soon as she was old enough, Oreca was swarmed by admirers.  She didn't casually reject any of them, but she was always quick to abandon her mates  whenever someone needed her.  Eventually a Cassare, furious at what Oreca's rejection had done to her brother, crept into Oreca's cave and raked her claws across Oreca's face, scarring her with a wound which magic could not heal. And so her perfect beauty was marred forever.
