Striped Dragons come in a dazzling array of colors complemented by an intricate pattern of stripes. These bright colors and patterns help attract their favorite food, insects. Because their prey is so tiny, striped dragons must spend a large portion of their day eating. The color of the offspring is usually determined by the dragon’s mate.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Striped green dragons are hard enough to find when they're inclined to socializing, and this dragon is most certainly not. On more than one occasion when the dragonkeeper in charge of her has attempted to round up all her dragons for the seasonal counting, this female has simply disappeared for the day, evading the count once again and continually making her keeper scratch her head as she tries to remember if she really did have one more green stripe than the count revealed. She seems to elude other dragons as easily as she evaders her keeper, because other dragon's attempts to find out why she evades the count have thus far been fruitless. Some speculate that, being a rare breed and having a good lineage, she is frequently bothered by males, and evades the count to keep even more males from being alerted to her existence.
