Ultraviolet Dragons are a heat-loving breed that are most commonly found in hot, arid environments. These hardy dragons are omnivorous and will eat both plant and animal matter, even species with thorny physical defenses such as cacti. They are generally peaceful and often quite friendly, but males will become aggressive and cantankerous during the breeding season. Intense fights take place over females, sometimes resulting in injury for both combatants.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

The most competitive member of the Regal Players acting troupe (RPers for short), Amethystfire loves being center stage. To those who don't know them well, she appears to not get along with Cloudfrost, but that's just them staying in character. The two often play rival characters in the troupe's shows, but offstage they're actually great friends. When not acting or rehearsing, she loves to participate in athletic endeavors such as Not-Hard Ball and full-tackle Talonball.
