Nebula Dragons are nocturnal creatures. With the best eyesight to be found, they are often seen staring into space. Each dragon tends to observe a particular nebula and will eventually change their colors and patterns to match it. As the nebula changes over time, the dragon changes with it. The more intricate the design of the nebula, the better chance an individual has of attracting a mate. It is said that the markings on no two Nebula Dragons will be exactly the same.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Born during a year of unusual calamity for the solstice dragons that shared his northern home, Winter's first impression of the relationship between human and dragon was one of violence. Solstice dragons were, for unknown reason, being born without the rosy wings so abundant in their species--yet this innocent matter of appearance was sending some mortals into mad furor, slaughtering plain and pink tinged solstices alike for what they claimed was "non alignment with the sun." Winter's parents helped to hide solstices during that bloody time, and this selflessness stuck with him more than the cruelty ever did. Now an adult, Winter considers the task his parent started, acting as a watchman and guardian for the gentle solstices he calls friends. While much of his protection comes from warning them of human approach well in advance of their arrival, he's not above using brute force if needed, believing sometimes violence is needed to defeat violence.
