Daydream Dragons are the hosts of daydreams and fantasies. They spend the majority of their time sitting on clouds, dropping daydreams down into the minds of people passing by. Humans who live near Daydream Dragons must be especially careful not to let their thoughts wander, or they could end up spending hours or even days in a trance-like waking dream state.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Malfoy Poetry was, in the beginning of his childhood, completely detached from reality (although in a very friendly manner), showing absolutely no interest in his surroundings or clan. He was constantly daydreaming. Only when his scroll master taught him to focus during his adolescence did he started to think about others emotionally and his skills. Like every Daydream dragon in his clan he takes care for the entertainment for his clan. Having a great sense of timing, humor, adaptability and resourcefulness, Malfoy loves to preform as a comedian in front of his clan. But Malfoy isn't above sending horrific nightmares of terrible hallucinations towards his clan's enemies being quite vengeful in nature. They can give severe amnesia effects. He also heavily believes in justice and protects innocent people or dragons. Malfoy is a gifted actor able to adjust his real personality between every moment; he usually alters to a personality he knows will appeal to the dragon in question.
