Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Poor Potato doesn't even know where to begin with explaining his name to others. For a start, he isn't even gold, and the 'Potato' part seems a little out of place. Since he is embarrassed about his lengthy and non-sensical name, he often uses the alias 'Collin', to avoid being teased about it.

However, the name makes a little sense when it is apparent that he has both a love of gold and potatoes. He often hoards both, and seems to live off both, too. He eats the potatoes, and then buys more potatoes with the gold. The answer to why he does this isn't simple—There isn't really a point. Some have speculated that he's gone stark-raving mad, and that he his simple love for the objects has become an obsession, but the truth is that even Potato doesn't know what he is doing.
