Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Once upon a time, a timid magician approached this dragon and offered him a deal: in exchange for the dragon slaying an old foe of his, the wizard would transform him into an all-powerful lich. The one minor, tiny, possible downside was that he might come back as a brainless zombie instead.

The dragon thought about it for a long time before he replied. Say, thirty seconds.

"Hmmmmmmmmmm how about NO."

And so the sorcerer went away and the dragon was never bothered again. Some might find his story boring, but personally the dragon is quite content with how everything turned out, and that's all that matters.
