White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Lightwing is a gentle dragon from the sacred lands beyond the two Mountains of the Sun, Asshai. She is a mother to many and a mate to Cha'arn, a Spotted Greenwing. Though she now resides in the Missaei caves with the rest of her clan and owner, she will never forget her birthplace and often talks about its blackened earth and twisted trees that only the ancient, magic lands of Asshai can offer.

Lightwing cares for each dragon in her clan dearly, healing each at every minor injury. Though she is smaller than most of the other dragons, she has surprising strength, and helps around the cave when necessary, once moving a massive boulder (with Dawkk's help) from the front of the cave in the Latareia Earthquake of 16XX. She respects each and every dragon, even the grumpy Krakatoa, although turns up her snout when meat is being eaten. Lightwing is known as 'the mother' of the clan due to her strict and motherly nature and is respected by all.
