Gold dragons are the ones most often killed by humans, who consider their scales to be extremely valuable. These golden scales grant them a high level of protection, similar to armor, and they use this to their advantage in battle.

Rumors about this dragon abound: some say he has five legs and is the size of a house; some say he has eight legs and is the size of a lake; yet others say he has fifty steel-plated claws, is the size of a decent kingdom, and has the ability to create perpetual motion machines. They're all myths anyway, stories made up to frighten children about a dragon Kad believes is just a simple gold minding his own business.
