White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Gentle and shy, Gabriel lived a peaceful life as a priest, healing those who were suffering, until he saw several dragon hatchlings being attacked by a group of hunters. Desperate, he threw his own body between them and the net, allowing the young ones to escape, but being captured himself in their stead. He was taken back to the men's employer, a wicked vine dragon named Edgar, a lich, and was used for the sadist's macabre experiments. Upon growing bored of him, Edgar cursed him, so that he constantly bore open wounds, and if he refused to obey his master's orders, the pain would only grow all the worse. Unable to die, unable to live, he lives a wretched half-life, lost in the misery that is a result of his kindness, constantly bringing new specimens to Edgar, of both dragons and humans.
