Royal Blue dragons are a nocturnal breed who prefer to live high in the mountains near slow-moving water that reflects the night sky. Although quite capable of defending themselves, they are peaceful by nature and will avoid a fight whenever possible.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Midashi spends most of her time in her living space, carving and painting the stone walls. Because her living space is close to a cave opening, she is often seen flying back and forth, bringing materials for dyes or fragments of bark scribbled with claw marks. She actively works on a map of the forest biome, using colors to indicate predator nests, edible plants, hunting areas, and bodies of water. Self-driven and independent, Midashi sometimes asks other members of the clan to help her search for specific locations, but she never lets any dragon mix or use the paints she makes.
