Harvest Dragons are a large, flightless breed most often found in heavily forested mountains. Normally shy, these omnivorous dragons keep to themselves in remote regions, but in the fall they descend from their high territory to search for food—and lots of it. During the autumn months, harvest dragons will eat whatever they can find, from large and small animals to nuts and fruit. In the winter they retreat into large caves and hibernate until spring, living off the fat they have built up.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Fallingmaple is shy and peaceful. She is a pacifist, a peer mediator for the other hot-tempered dragons. She is the only one who can strike some sense about generosity and sharing into Firen Garnet, a Royal Crimson Dragon. Fallingmaple comforts the hatchlings when they're afraid or hurt. She is currently studying the use of medicinal plants and remedies. She loves nature; she can be found sitting quietly on the edge of a riverbank or the brink of a forest. Fallingmaple loves the stars. She believes the stars to be spirits, souls who have gone to the heavens. Fallingmaple also believes the stars to warn them of times of danger and peril. She has grown ever worrisome now, all the dragons have noticed. But what they haven't noticed is the pattern of the stars, predicting an apocalypse.
