Ultraviolet Dragons are a heat-loving breed that are most commonly found in hot, arid environments. These hardy dragons are omnivorous and will eat both plant and animal matter, even species with thorny physical defenses such as cacti. They are generally peaceful and often quite friendly, but males will become aggressive and cantankerous during the breeding season. Intense fights take place over females, sometimes resulting in injury for both combatants.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Anthony is very interested in the social structures of different dragon breeds, mixed clans and weyrs, and even in the interaction of human and dragons. While her own clan is huge enough to provide her with ample opportunity to study each of these, she knows that good science demands bigger sample groups to come to definite conclusions. So she travels the lands year after year only returning to her own clan to discuss her findings and to compare them with the realities of her home. Every century or so, she writes up a new tome on her latest observations and has it translated into various draconic and human dialects so that many people can benefit from her work.
