Seasonal Dragons take on the characteristics of the season during which they are born. Thus, eggs that are laid in spring match the pink flowers and green buds of spring, and those that are laid in the summer grow to depict the bright green of the forest trees and the yellow of the sun. Eggs laid in autumn display the bright colors of leaves falling from trees, and those that are laid during winter take on the appearance of the icy snow.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Small snowflakes flutter off of his wings, the moisture in the air turning into snow upon touching his freezing skin. It's the only thing that serves as a reminder of his mate who is gone for most of the year. Glacier is a very solitary dragon, usually sitting outside the cave, staring up into the mountains. But he is very loyal, so he does not leave Noel to find another mate.

His footsteps leave the ground frozen where he walks, only to melt a few seconds later in the heat of the summer. He's usually sad and quiet for most of the time, until the first snowfall that arrives along with his mate. Then he completely changes in her presence. He gathers food for the feast with her, he'll help tell the stories with her to the young hatchlings. Often setting the mood my sprinkling snow over them for a moment. During the winter season, him and Noel spend a lot of alone time together with their few hatchlings, until Noel has to leave once again until next year.
