Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. Its belly is bright red and it is most active in the evening.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

This hatchling was frozen in time. It was thought to be healthy as an egg, but soon as a hatchling, it was very weak. While most other hatchlings would go out and play, it had to stay inside, being watched over. THe best White Dragons nursed it and took care of it, but it was destined to stay as a hatchling... No one even knew Red Sunset's gender before the White Dragons decided it was safest to freeze it in time (turn it immortal), so Red Sunset would not die.
