Avatars of Change are unpredictable, exuberant dragons whose unique connection to magic has saturated their entire bodies. It is said that possessing one of their iridescent scales can change one’s fate, and many have sought the favor of these dragons hoping to receive a scale as a gift.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

"You want me to read this cookbook... really..."

An eager nod was the answer from a hatchling that looked up to her with utter adoration, nudging the thick book closer. Somehow surprised that there was at least one dragon in the batch that took liking to the scattered books around, the witch flipped the tome open, reading various ingredients. However one can't hold a human's attention for so long, especially when there were more important chores to do.

One sketch of a pudding seemed to pique the hatchling's attention. A few close nudges towards that particular picture, and the next thing that the witch heard was the sound of ripping paper. Looking back in horror, the only thing that she can see was that hatchling on the floor as it gobbled up a piece of parchment.

"By the gods, you should have just pushed a bowl around if you're hungry!"

This hatchling grew up as unpredictable as a rolling dice, only lumbering in pride and size. And the witch learned to neatly keep her books ever since.
