Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Darkstorm is the result of a short lived pairing between Forever Nameless and Polo, he was the first hatchling to actually be born to clan Immonique rather than being adopted as an egg. However his parents went their separate ways just after Darkstorm grew his wings. One might expect him to be resentful but Darkstorm knows his parents love him, if not each other.

Being the child of a mint Darkstorm is quite a bit smaller than average for a black dragon, and hes very sensitive about the matter. Nothing can enrage him faster than a suggestion that hes small.

Darkstorm is obsessed with he magic beyond all else, he spend his waking hours with his mother and Renala, learning the most complex spells he can. In time he may surpass his mother, if only from pure determination.
