Neotropical Dragons are a breed that originate in rainforests. They are fun-loving and enjoy lounging on tree branches, eating whatever fruit they find. They are also often found sunning themselves on rocks, using their large wings to soak up the rays. In the summer, males compete for mates by showing off their striped wings and gliding in spirals down the tree trunks. It is said that the larger the wings, the more likely the male will attract a suitable mate.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Jadidiya SunLaze (after the gemstone: Jade) was secretly transported into the clan cave as its 181st dragon, the offspring of an extremely prolific pair of dragons from a neighboring clan. Very surprised by her arrival, The Clan Mother sought out the identity of the mysterious benefactor, and quietly discovered credit belonged to her newfound friend, The Lady Nerruse. Jadidiya is a rather laid back and lazy dragon, spending most of her time relaxing on the sun warmed rocks near the clan cave. Luckily for her, the males of her kind within the clan seem rather smitten with her, and so, they compete with one another to provide for her, which she enjoys immensely. Although languid, she is full of good spirit and humor and often delights the younglings with her dazzling displays of magical trickery, just so long as they come to her for such entertainment. In return, she expects each to offer her a single piece of fruit, which tends to keep her well supplied, and very well fed.
