Cheese Dragons are not actually alive. They are enchanted items of food that act almost identically to dragons. They have no need to eat, but they must “live” in humid environments or they will dry out and harden.

It's a real mystery Nayu is trying to crack, his treatment by all other dragons is. Half of them won't come within a league of him; he once went an entire month without even seeing a Creorlunite. Like they were avoiding him...

He's far less insane than any other cheese or even paper dragons in the clan. He knows. They are the only dragons save Chiklo who he are able to be in the presence of for more than a brief  passing.

Of course that Chiklo tolerates him is in itself a clue. For Chiklo and the others share one common trait. They cannot smell. Their bodies were not created with functioning noses.

Yes, Nayu smells like a bag of rancid vomit cooking in the sun. It's so potent that a single whiff as been known to knock a dragon out cold for a week and kill a human at close range.

Nayu is completely oblivious to his stinky cheese scent of course. He has no nose himself, the poor fool.
