Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

As a hatchling, Midnightbound thought that he would become a great warrior. He never thought that one day a hunter would attack him, slicing through his left wing, leaving him wounded and an incapable dragon forevermore. Midnightbound ran away from his cave, humiliated and alone. He used his magic to create a haven for himself, deep in a dark wood, where no one would be able to see and mock his handicap. However, one night he went for a midnight stroll, meeting a purple dragon named Retratution. Before he knew it, she was a constant visitor. Midnightbound thought he loved Retratutuion, and soon they had an egg. However, Retratution started hurting Midnightbound's feelings. It soon became apparent that Retratution would never make a good mother for their egg, so Midnightbound took a leap and drove Retratution away, hiding with his egg in the dark depths, where no dragon could harm it.
