Lumina Dragons received their names from their highly reflective scales, which—at times—seem to glow. They are vain, always strutting about and preening incessantly; if one of their scales has so much as a scratch or a defect, they’ll remove it. Luckily, their scales grow back quickly, and each new growth is more beautiful than the last. These narcissistic dragons live in small groups and prefer to surround themselves with beauty. The females guard their territory and eggs while the males search for vegetation to eat.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Lumini, or just Mini, is a somewhat shy dragon. She tends to preen herself out of anxiety, similar to how humans bite their nails. She doesn't like icky things and is a bit of a prude. Lumini will even hide from creatures smaller than her if they look gross. She is extremely self conscious and is constantly fidgeting or picking at something.

As a young dragon she was a slow grower, while her peers grew much faster she was left very small and frail. She quickly sprouted up, but she is still a rather dainty dragon.
