Feisty and energetic, Whiptail Dragons pride themselves on their speed and agility. It is not unusual to see several whiptails racing each other. Though fragile, they can easily evade attacks with their superior speed, and often use their long tails as a weapon, giving rise to their name.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Being named for a goddess of lightning was a very fitting idea. Fulgora Blitz loves playing when it rains and is especially happy to be out playing in rainstorms. The other members of the Blitz clan simply shake their heads in disbelief every time they see her racing the raindrops in whatever pattern her game currently requires and tell the amazed hatchlings, that, no, this is not normal behaviour for Blitz dragons, please refrain from imitating her.

Fulgora doesn't care that some of the other dragons make fun of her hobby, she is the happiest when lightning and thunder are about. The thrill of the danger, the cleansing feeling of the rain washing over her body, she wouldn't give it up for the world.
