Canopy Dragons love to soar above the tropical jungles and other densely forested areas. Their billowing, layered wings create generous lift that allows them to ascend effortlessly over the warm jungle. While their unique wings do not make them the fastest flyers, they are champion gliders. To further this end, dexterity, maneuverability, and grace are all judged by the females when selecting their mates from the males that can accurately complete the exhausting and elaborate courtship dance between the close growing branches of the upper canopy.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

This dainty creature is named after her two favorite foods. In addition to collard greens and bell peppers (yellow ones mainly), she also enjoys treats of apple, banana, papaya, cactus pears, and other fruits. She is pickier about leafy greens, but will munch on mustard greens and anything else with strong flavor. She is difficult to keep out of the Breedery's garden, as she knows where the Vine dragon Sativex has dug in and enters the garden by air from the opposite side, avoiding the territorial Vine's attacks, at least so long as she stays in the far end of the garden. The other Vines may have to be relocated to strategic positions around the garden in order to prevent Collard from plundering it repeatedly. If allowed, she would simply spend all her time browsing on flavorful vegetation and becoming fat. She will snap the occasional bug out of the air, too, and will at times actively stalk them. Though fed well, she is always hungry and acts that way.
