Ochredrakes are a curious species with a wide array of mutations and interesting behaviors. Not as intelligent as normal dragons, they only breed with other drake species. While they may not be bright, ochredrakes are flamboyant and fun-loving with amazing, chirping voices to sing with, and tame readily in the presence of a gentle hand.

Though it may appear at first that dragons and drakes have much in common, the two are completely separate species. Drakes are smaller and less intelligent than their cousin species, though both dragons and drakes sit comfortably near the top of the food chain. They are always found bearing antlers and leathery wings. Drakes share many of the same habitats that dragons do, and typically hunt in packs.

User Description

Vanilla, true to his name, is incredibly sweet and pleasant. He's very mellow for an Ochredrake, preferring to lie back and enjoy himself rather than actively pursue playmates. In fact, he's a pretty lazy drake. He spends much of his time napping or generally lounging about. He does still retain a sweet, excitable nature, but it's much more toned down. Vanilla gets along well with other drakes and dragons, though his one-track mind can easily become dull. If Vanilla isn't talking about the weather, he's talking about food. His conversation topics really are limited to those two things; he doesn't have much of an opinion on anything else. That said, he is a really good listener. Because of his chill nature, Vanilla is more than happy to hear out any rants or long, elaborate speeches, or anything anyone might want to get off their chest. He usually won't understand any of it, he may not even get a decent idea, but he'll still willingly listen and follow along.
