Silver Dragons are arguably one of the most beautiful types of dragons. They live in high altitude habitats such as mountains. Silver females eat meat only when a male dragon brings it to them as part of courtship, though they are typically highly-independent. They possess an almost magical aura that lights up any place they are in, and are looked upon with awe by humans and animals alike.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Nanako is a very sweet and mild mannered dragon with a secret. When all of the other dragons are asleep at night she sneaks away from her mountaintop home and out of the territory. Nanako has many admirers in various clans and likes to tease them and toy with their affections. As a member of a famous and noble bloodline, the Dorkfaces, she receives good treatment wherever she goes.

Nanako keeps her night time associations a secret because she knows some of the clan will view her dalliances as betrayal.
