Cheese Dragons are not actually alive. They are enchanted items of food that act almost identically to dragons. They have no need to eat, but they must “live” in humid environments or they will dry out and harden.

A wise, well-aged cheese dragon, this creature considers it his job to watch over his three younger cheese friends, who are prone to getting themselves into bad situations in which they nearly melt or end up between two pieces of bread or all the other things in between. And he also has to save them from themselves, too; one relaxed evening in the kitchen became tense quickly when one's remark that he had just 'cut the cheese' made one of the others believe he was a cheese-murdering cannibal!
