Red Dragons are similar to typical story book dragons. They shoot flames, can fly, etc. However, they aren’t evil creatures as depicted in myths and won’t go around raiding castles, killing knights, or kidnapping princesses. They live in a variety of habitats, from forests to coastlines to abandoned castles, usually in warm climates, and eat whatever living creatures they can find.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

"Lord" Feryo lives in an abandoned castle, spending his days in his visions of grandeur. When he hatched, his parents noticed him to be a bit "different;" he would spend his time building castles out of pebbles, sticks, leaves, mud, and the occasional dead animal that was abundant in the sparse cave, always positioning himself on top and "commanding" the insects that traveled around his mini-fortress. He constantly fought his parents, trying to control the cave and command everything and everyone; his parents wouldn't allow it and as soon as his wings grew in he flew away, as far as he could. He rested in an abandoned castle, filled with remnants of a long-forgotten lord, and took it up as his. He now lives there, slowly deteriorating mentally, never accepting the fact that no one knows of his existence and he is not a ruler of the world.
