Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. Unlike the other hatchlings, this one hatched with wings.

And look! Its back legs have become a second set of wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

In the beginning of a gust, one may catch the scents of many things and feel a tickle as their hair plays about with the dancing air. This wind is home to a curious female skywing, dubbed Whisperer for the sense one gets of secrets and intrigue when she is riding the same breeze felt by them. She seems never full when she is landed, both for food and knowledge. Always returning quickly to the wind, no one knows much about her as the conversation is always kept centered on themselves.
