Lumina Dragons received their names from their highly reflective scales, which—at times—seem to glow. They are vain, always strutting about and preening incessantly; if one of their scales has so much as a scratch or a defect, they’ll remove it. Luckily, their scales grow back quickly, and each new growth is more beautiful than the last. These narcissistic dragons live in small groups and prefer to surround themselves with beauty. The females guard their territory and eggs while the males search for vegetation to eat.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Sir Pompous IV is a lumina dragon. He is abhorrently prideful, snide, snobbish, and rude, and struts around all day, making nasty comments about the other dragons' 'unsatisfactory' and 'disgusting' looks. Not surprisingly, most dragons ignore him and mutter about him behind their backs, causing Sir Pompous IV to dislike them further. As a hatchling, when Sir Pompous IV was named, he insisted adding the 'IV' to his name, despite not having a lineage. Thinking it would make him sound more aristocratic and high-class, he now stresses it whenever he eloquently introduces himself to others. However, this has earned him the nickname Sir Pinhead IV, which many dragons refer to him as, much to his obvious disdain. Sir Pompous IV harbors a particular hatred of David and Samuel, a two-headed dragon that likes to play pranks on him, humiliate him, and, of course, call him Sir Pinhead IV whenever they get a chance.
