Pink Dragons are primarily herbivores and only eat meat during the mating season, when mates will exchange kills. When it is not breeding season, pink dragons spend most of their time incubating eggs and caring for their clan’s young. Due to their feminine color, it was traditionally thought that pink dragons were a strictly female breed, but this is not true.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. North Star is named because he is always taunted. People, at one point or another, taunt and annoy North Star. But he can't do anything about it; like the north star, never moving, is always taunted my the stars around it. This constant teasing made North Star one of the most unpopular dragons in the cave. Though, if you were to talk to North Star, he is quite wise and kind. He often hunts for Pelly The Pony; the lowest ranking dragon. Even Pelly The Pony makes fun of North Star, weakly, but she still gets a stinging comment into North Star's head.
