Vampire Dragons are members of the undead. They sustain themselves by drinking the blood of others. It is said that they are only “alive” at night, and seem dead or asleep during the day, as they cannot endure sunlight for long periods of time. Vampire Dragons can only reproduce by changing the eggs of other dragons, puncturing the shell with their fangs and injecting venom that kills the baby inside.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Karthik was a normal egg waiting for the right time to hatch when suddenly, everything changed. He felt something bite him and all of the sudden he was alone. It was very cold inside his egg. Then he felt someone pick his egg up and take it with them. He thought everything was going to be ok. But when he hatched he knew something was different. All the other dragons were wary of him him and no other hatchlings dared to go near him and they kept any eggs away. It was that moment he realized what happened: he had been turned into a vampire. He thought no one cared about him. The only one who trusted him was his owner, she named him after her best friend. Once the other Dragons realized how upset he was they started to approach him more and more. He was eventually accepted amongst the other dragons and although they still don't like it when he bites an egg now he lives happily with the rest of the dragons.
