Golden Wyverns are known for their beautiful metallic scales and rumored magical abilities. Living high in the mountains, these dragons do not believe in killing for sport or pleasure. They will hunt only when hungry and defend themselves when provoked, but will avoid killing to the best of their abilities. Golden Wyverns often mingle with other dragons of similar color and take pride in their shimmering hide.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Ruthen never had an easy life, many of his troubles starting when he was only an egg. His egg was snatched from its nest by a group of out of work sell swords looking for easy coin. The egg was put up for auction, nearly sold to a farmer as a future livestock guardian, though was bought by a human who owned a large swath of land where hundreds of dragons roamed. As soon as the hatchling was free of his shell, the human went searching for his parents. Luckily enough the sell swords gave up the information, leading them to find out that Ruthen's mother was a famed doctor, while his father was a legendary Avatar. He decided to remain with the human who freed him, training his magic skills that where amplified by the Arsani in his blood. The white dragons rejected him as a medic, leading him to seek out a human doctor who allowed him to work besides them. Many of the humans, including the sell swords, value how the wyvern can easily patch up a wound without leaving a scar behind.
