Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It has a number of fleshy growths on its head and back.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

This little hatchling is a member of the Peaceful Pack, a mixed group of tranquil adults and naughty hatchlings. Abandoned by his parents, he was cold and hungry when he was discovered. Since he stopped growing before he developed his wings, he was mockingly called Spotted Greenthing instead of Spotted Greenwing by the larger hatchlings. Fortunately Greenthing doesn't care much for their bullying and has taken the name as his own, showing himself above their petty insults. With the other wingless hatchlings, Greenthing enjoys long careless days playing with his friends and searching for sweet fruits in the lush valley that is his home.
