Electric Dragons wield electricity with great prowess. Bright sparks race across these dragons’ bodies in a dazzling dance of light, complemented by the blindingly radiant sparks on their tails. Using their bellies and manes as stores for this electrical energy, Electric Dragons wield crackling magic, stunning and electrocuting their prey with a whip of their tail. During mating season it is typically those with the most brilliant sparks—an indicator of strength and hunting ability—that are drawn to each other.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

A powerful, aggressive female, this one is feared by men and dragons alike--and she knows it. Acting much like the cruel dragons of western myth, the only main difference between her and those equally scaly brutes is that she uses electricity rather than fire to achieve her ends. She collects vast piles of gold and jewelry, and consumes young virgin males to sate her terrible hunger; she is known to play with these for hours before she kills. She has an entire empire held neatly under her clawed thumb, and routinely collects slaves and sacrifices. Despite the hatred those under her rule feel towards her, no one possesses the bravery to go against her, and she fears nothing.

Nothing in her realm, at least.

But to the west, there is another empire, led by a kind magma dragon known as Pyroki and his human companion. She knows he's been aiming to put an end to her evil, and vows she'll end his life first.
