Welcome to Dragon Cave! Dragon Cave is an online adoptables game. Collect eggs, raise them to adulthood, and then breed them to create interesting lineages. New dragons are added regularly!
Skywing Dragons spend most of their lives flying in the air. They hunt from the air, diving at prey from above, and land only to rest. They are some of the fastest fliers, capable of extremely high speeds. The webbing at the end of the tail acts as a rudder, allowing them to easily change direction during flight.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
Chop likes to fly. He sets off every morning and flies far from the caves. He's usually gone until well after nightfall. This pleases the rest of Lagie's dragons no end, because Chop is known around the caves for incessantly singing a song that never ends. Those poor dragons unfortunate enough to hear him nearly always end up singing this song themselves for hours afterwards, causing the other dragons to glare at them and sidle away. Whether it's due to his inbreeding, or due to his egg having arrived mysteriously one day teleported from who knows where by who knows which magi, or possibly due to his having spitfires in his lineage (Lagie's dragons are leery of spitfires, there being none in their caves), no one knows for sure.
On the rare occasion that Chop isn't singing his neverending song, he can be heard singing a short piece that's equally catching. No dragon, not even Chop, knows what "H. O. T. W. I. R. E. Hotwire dot com" is, but they all know it's just as annoying!
