Valentine eggs are only seen once a year. Adults’ mating seasons are very short, usually spanning a few weeks in the mid-to-late winter. These dragons were once reputed to be omens of good luck in love.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Lovarix is a brave dragon who gains her relaxed nature from her Royal Blue bloodline. She lives just outside the castle by a slow, lazy creek with which she can watch her reflection. She doesn't feel like the pink Valentine she's meant to be, believing she was meant to be born a Royal Blue but something got messed up. She sleeps while the sun is up, waiting until night to go out and about. This has stirred up rumors with the local villages who have started to say that seeing Valentine's at night is a bad omen and is a surefire sign that ones current romance is doomed.
