Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It glows with some form of arcane energy.
And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.
Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.
User Description
Guardian of the Young (also known as Guardian) was adored by everyone when she hatched. But when she gendered, now that was a different story. She gendered female and no one was very happy when she did. She was supposed to be male to be a mate to a magma named Thuroara Stone. Since she was female the other dragons wanted to freeze her, and they did. She was left in the nursery to tend to the young so that gave her the name Guardian of the Young. Now she spends her days playing with the hatchlings and putting moss in the nest. She doesn't have many friends, but the hatchlings look to her when they are hurt, need advice, when they are sad or when they just want to snuggle with someone.
