Royal Blue dragons are a nocturnal breed who prefer to live high in the mountains near slow-moving water that reflects the night sky. Although quite capable of defending themselves, they are peaceful by nature and will avoid a fight whenever possible.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Beldandee is a great dreamer, and she spends hours staring into the evening sky. She sleeps very little, retreating to a cavern during the day where she lays on her back and looks up at bio-luminescent clusters of glowing fungae that resemble a star-studded night. She almost never leaves her home (the cavern and the surrounding area) but, when she does, she likes taking long flights over the coast, where she can see the ocean.
