Spotted Greenwings are relatively small nocturnal dragons. Easily recognizable by the fleshy appendages growing off of their head and rump, they are most commonly seen in forests at night, leaping and soaring from tree to tree. While generally social, spotted greenwings are very quiet and rarely make any sort of vocalization. Their bodies are unusually warm to the touch, though they are unable to breathe fire. Greenwings are voracious feeders and will consume nearly any living thing that they can fit in their mouths.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Theories about this greenwing being the first of its species are rising—As they have just evolved, Greenwings are rare. Nobody quite knows which one is the first of the species, however many dragonologists have their eyes set on this individual. This dragon is nicknamed 'Glow Growth' for its glowing growths. Glow is normally a peaceful dragon, but several times has tried to breathe fire. Most times nothing but a wisp of smoke came out, but on a few occasions a small, green flame that does not burn anything comes out. This puzzles Dragonologists.
