Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It enjoys playing in shallow water.

And look! It has grown fins, and likes to make bubbles in the water. It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

RyuuriGoldfish is a quick Goldfish Dragon hatchling. She loves to swim through the shallow waters, usually chasing her cousin, HarvestGoldfish. The two are as close as siblings. RyuuriGoldfish loves to have bubble fights and chase crabs across beaches. Being on land is a tad awkward for her, she feels so strange and heavy. The two hatchlings figured out a clever magical trick—they can trap fish in bubbles and toss those bubbles to one another without dropping them. Any fish-in-a-bubble that touch the water just pop and free the fish.
