Silver Dragons are arguably one of the most beautiful types of dragons. They live in high altitude habitats such as mountains. Male Silvers hunt and eat meat. While not as beautiful or radiant as females, silver males possess better physical attributes, such as strength.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Adikavi loves the hunt. When ordinary hunting, taking down beasts with his superior stealth and strength, became dull, he turned to riddles and logic puzzles to hunt with his mind. He constructs them elaborately, playing off of any word or loophole he can. While he's normally very arrogant, when he's creating or solving a riddle, he's as playful and earnest as a hatchling. He keeps frequent company with Apollodoros and Artemidora, due to their love of mind games.

This also means he keeps company with Isline. She may be the biggest mystery of all to him. At first, he didn't think much of the ditsy Daydream. Then he realized that her strange way of thinking allowed her to solve his riddles better than anyone. He realized that making her make sense was the greatest riddle of all. From that point on, he loved her. One day, he asked her the hardest question to construct he had ever made: for her to be his mate. And with her assent, he caught his most challenging quarry.
