Storm Dragons are the masters of the skies. They are excellent fliers and land only to rest and eat. In addition, they have full control of the weather. They are very hot-tempered and easily angered. They will attack any human that bothers them, conjuring strong winds and dangerous lightning.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Hezron is a very shrewd individual. One of Abel's first friends, he's watched the resolution of many an argument and will often place himself between to squabbling parties until an official mediator has arrived. He is very loyal and takes a no-nonsense approach to peacekeeping, even using zaps of lightning to deter errant dragons from acting rashly.

Lately he has been assigned the task of watching over Franks—making sure their experiments do not break any moral or ethical guidelines (especially where drakes are concerned). He is not immune to the charming brains behind the two-headed dragon's audacious schemes, however, and enjoys the time he spends with them (though he insists it is merely his duty). Playful bickering is a staple of their relationship, as Franks constantly attempt to see how much they can get away with before Hezron has to put his foot down. Some dragons are even beginning to wonder if Hezron prefers the company of Franks over even that of his own mate.
