Red Dragons are similar to typical story book dragons. They shoot flames, can fly, etc. However, they aren’t evil creatures as depicted in myths and won’t go around raiding castles, killing knights, or kidnapping princesses. They live in a variety of habitats, from forests to coastlines to abandoned castles, usually in warm climates, and eat whatever living creatures they can find.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
She looks at herself in the reflection of the water surrounding her cave. All she can see is ugliness. She pounces on the reflection; her mirror image, rippling. At night she dreams of becoming a beautiful dragoness. Her shiny golden scales would blind anyone who dared to look. Once awoken, she would growl and hiss, for she did not want to be torn away from her deep slumber. She sits alone near the back of her cave, near the hatchlings; for she knew that they would not judge her. She loved the hatchlings that weren't hers. Never once did she have one to herself. She did not like the other dragons, for they glanced at her mortified and ran away. Her love was not used on those with foul hearts, they were not able to look past her image and into her heart. At the darkest hours of the night, she would creep up close to the hatchlings and would warm them, for they too were left alone, to endure the awful hate of the world. In that way, her heart grew cold, and she became old and lonely.
