Ochredrakes are a curious species with a wide array of mutations and interesting behaviors. Not as intelligent as normal dragons, they only breed with other drake species. While they may not be bright, ochredrakes are flamboyant and fun-loving with amazing, chirping voices to sing with, and tame readily in the presence of a gentle hand.

Though it may appear at first that dragons and drakes have much in common, the two are completely separate species. Drakes are smaller and less intelligent than their cousin species, though both dragons and drakes sit comfortably near the top of the food chain. They are always found bearing antlers and leathery wings. Drakes share many of the same habitats that dragons do, and typically hunt in packs.

Nico Marker is the son of Airea Elequera, Goddess of Dragons. All his life he believed he had inherited nothing from his mother except his good looks, and only aquicered his fathers thirst. Recently though, Airea felt something in him. She had gone to visit her child who lived amongst the Markers, married to his sweet darling Elda. She whispered in his ear,things he had sought to hear his entire life. Things like that she approved of the way he lived, and that she loved him as much as his younger sister, Ziara. He let out a small squeak as his body shifted into that of a a medium sized, pale-colored, friendly-looking dragon.

Nico Elequera and Nico Marker.. They are the same person. The "Nico" you see before you is the one he displays most often, his calmer more docile side. Practicly harmless to all, and quite clumsy.
