Guardian Dragons have large shields on the end of their tails. Although the shields appear to be heavy, they are light, yet nearly unbreakable. Guardian Dragons use their tail-shields, as well as their wings, to deflect attacks and protect others. Often, they will guard the eggs and hatchlings of a nest while others are away. They are generally peaceful, and will not retaliate unless necessary. They have no need to forage or hunt, as they are fed by those they protect.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Euoi was taken from his home coven of rogue guardians as a teenager to guard the children of a prominent dragon clan. Euoi stoically waits at the edge of the nest, guarding the children and waiting for something to happen. Nothing ever does though, they are in too cultivated an area for any harm to come to the little ones. So Euoi is just used as a bored, cheap babysitter and an impressive decoration to impress the guests. He patiently stands tall as screeching hatchlings crawl all over him while he is nagged by the clan masters. Being from the wild, Euoi has undomesticated instincts that clash with his duty to the family. He wants so badly to run off and be a brutish and beastly creature like he once was, but he is bound by his nature to protect the squalling children. A wise dragon has been observing Euoi at his post for the last few years and warns that soon Euoi will get fed up with the degrading treatment he receives and will do something drastic.
