Feisty and energetic, Whiptail Dragons pride themselves on their speed and agility. It is not unusual to see several whiptails racing each other. Though fragile, they can easily evade attacks with their superior speed, and often use their long tails as a weapon, giving rise to their name.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Quickfang not only prides himself on his exceptional speed abilities, but also thinks himself an excellent warrior, especially when using his long tail. He's even gone to the lengths of starting an underground (in both the literal and figurative sense) arena where the toughest dragons can duke it out and possibly win treasure and glory. There's even an elite fighting club, but, shhh! it's a secret. When asked how he received a particular scar or bruise, he'll simply reply "None of your business." and stalk away to plan the next secret Fight Club brawl.
