Magma Dragons are capable of withstanding the intense temperatures of their element. They live in volcanic regions, their bodies coated in the red hot magma which clings to their scales. They must leave the lava fields in order to hunt, although they require surprisingly little food to sustain their lumbering mass.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Despite communicating only using telepathy, Rocky Soda has a horrible stutter. Her conversations, no matter who they are with, end up with the other dragon--perhaps out of reluctance to hear Rocky's voice--doing most all of the talking, save the occasional "O-o-o-k-ka-kay" or "Guh-geh-g-ood p-point-t-teh" from Rocky. The source of this stutter is unknown, but it appeared only after she had grown her hard coating to surround her magma flesh. Rocky's story, would anyone give her the chance to tell it, is that she closed her mouth one day expecting soft flesh to meet the roof of her mouth, but found newly hardened magma biting and nearly severing her tongue. Understandably, this left the young Rocky in considerable distress. While she healed almost completely, her maturing roar was stifled from the injury, and Rocky Soda grew to associate her voice with an abrupt and separated stutter.
